We currently have a vacancy in our Corporate Tax Team for an ambitious Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join our team. The right candidate will either currrently be a Senior Manager looking for a new challenge or a manager looking for a step up in their career.

We currently have approximately 90 staff and our tax team has grown substantially in the past two years. New business acquisition has resulted in 20%+ growth year-on-year for the past 2 years.

Your experience
CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified.
Significant advisory experience is essential as you will be tasked with leading on certain projects.
Currently a senior manager or manager looking for a step up with the opportunity for further progress.
The role
We are looking for a senior tax manager to work with our existing tax team and partner group to work on a growing amount of advisory work as well as managing a portfolio of more complex Corporate Tax Returns.
It is likely to be a 60:40 split between advisory and compliance. This is seen as a key hire in the team and the role will offer a varied range of advisory and compliance work.
The role will include:
• Working on family owned businesses, large groups and multinationals up to £1bn turnover.
• Involvement in the Complex company Tax Returns compliance and review of returns completed by junior members of the team
• Assisting advisory work, which could include:
o Share schemes – EMI, CSOP, growth shares etc.
o International structuring
o Corporate reconstructions e.g. demergers and MBOs
o SEIS/EIS advice
o R&D tax relief claims
o Tax Due Diligence
o Enquiry work
• Working directly with partners on their clients and liaising with other teams to deliver results
• Coaching and mentoring junior members of the team
• Technical research to provide possible solutions to complex tax issues
• Promoting the tax team internally and externally, including writing articles and attendance at networking events
• Seeking planning opportunities within the current client base
• Hybrid working – three days in the office.
